Reentry Policy Council

The Reentry Policy Council is a public/private partnership established by the Council of State Governments and funded in part by the US Department of Justice, US Department of Labor, and US Department of Health and Human Services.  The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Open Society Institute, and the JEHT Foundation have also provided material support for the Council and the production of its “Report of the Reentry Policy Council.”  Reentry officials in Pennsylvania and around the country are being guided by practices and policies recommended in the Report, which can be found at the Website below. The Council continues to advance public safety and reduce victimizations through ongoing work in evidence-based reentry practices.  For those interested in research and programs underlying Pennsylvania ’s reentry efforts, this Report and the Website are essential reading.
